MRAG Americas — Website Redesign 2010
MRAG Americas is a unique and highly motivated group of scientists and specialists with expertise in fisheries and aquatic resource science, management, and monitoring; fisheries observer programs; ecosystem and protected area management; government liaison and relations; stakeholder engagement and outreach; and international conservation and management agreements.
I built the first MRAG Americas website in 2005, which suited their needs well at the time. But after several years of growth, the site was becoming more and more challenging to manage (new pages had to be uploaded manually), and it in desperate need of a new look. I was called upon, once again, to revive the tired website. For the publishing platform, we selected WordPress, and I designed a new theme and built some custom functions.
