One of the best outlets after an intense day of coding is to go outside and make some photographs. I enjoy shooting a variety of different subjects, including boats, wildlife, landscapes, buildings, and even tree bark. I’m currently using a Canon 400D (discontinued) with the stock Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5–5.6 lens and a Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM lens, which I bought for a trip to Tanzania in 2007. Don’t judge me, pros! My budget doesn’t yet permit me the luxury of the coveted Canon EOS 5D Mark II with an EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens. This gear of mine, however basic, has served me quite well; just have a look at some of my photos.
