I build websites and web-based applications, as both a freelancer and as part of a web development team. Over the past decade, I have been involved in well over 150 web development projects. Website Development Process

  • Design

    I start by selecting a few choice photos and an idea of the types of websites you like, then I create a prototype of your site using Adobe Photoshop. During the design phase, we’ll tweak the appearance of the website until you are happy with the look.

  • Assemble

    The prototype created in the design phase is carved up into its component images, and the coding begins. I bring the images back together and assemble them into a website. Each image will be optimized for a balance of good looks and small file size for fast page loading.

  • Populate

    The individual web pages are generated and populated with text and images designed to get your business noticed on the web. At this stage, I’ll also build any back-end components you have requested. If you decide to go with a WordPress theme, you will be able to start adding the text yourself at this stage.

  • Launch

    After taking care of the red tape, such as securing a domain name, setting up a web server where your site will be hosted, and filling in the copy and images for your site, it’s time to upload all the files to the server. Your website is go!
